JOIN OUR NJPOL ADVISORY COHORT

The New Jersey Poetry Out Loud Advisory Cohort is the newly launched version of our former Teacher Advisory Cohort now expanding beyond educators to include parents, guardians, and caregivers of past program participants.

The Advisory Cohort will act as a sounding board for program leadership and partners, helping the New Jersey Poetry Out Loud program better serve schools, organizations, and most importantly, students and families throughout New Jersey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in 3–4 virtual meetings with NJPOL leadership throughout the school year

• Supporting regional partners during competition‐season planning

• Acting as a peer leader and resource for new schools or teachers (as available)

• Helping promote participation from under-represented counties

• Sharing marketing materials, newsletters and social media updates to grow awareness

• Providing feedback and assessment on program implementation and community‐engagement strategies
