School Registration

Registration for New Jersey Poetry Out Loud opens November 24 and closes January 21.

This year, we’ve simplified the process. Schools will complete one single registration form that covers both participation and school winner submission.

Judge Applications Open

Are you interested in playing a role in the NJPOL Regional and State Competitions? Do you have a love for poetry? Good news! We're searching for judges.

Please note: If a judge has an affiliation with any school or organization within a region, they will not be permitted to judge that region.

New jersey poetry out loud advisory cohort

New Jersey Poetry Out Loud  Advisory Cohort is the newly launched version of our former Teacher Advisory Cohort — now expanding beyond educators to include parents, guardians, and caregivers of past program participants.

The Advisory Cohort will act as a sounding board for program leadership and partners, helping the New Jersey Poetry Out Loud program better serve schools, organizations, and most importantly, students and families throughout New Jersey.
